Avondale Senior Services temporarily suspends full program operation

Until further notice the Avondale Neighborhood & Family Services Department will temporarily suspend transportation with limited program hours and activities held at the Arizona Complete Health Avondale Resource Center

Home Delivered Meal Program will continue. Participants who rely on the congregate meal program (lunch at the senior center), can pick up a nutritious Brown Bag meal from 11:30am to 12:30 pm on weekdays from the Resource Center, located at 995 E. Riley Dr.

If participants who normally receive transportation services from the Senior Center are unable to pick up the Brown Bag meal, accommodations will be made to deliver meals. Weekly Mobile Food Pantry will remain in effect.

Supplemental Food Programs

Supplemental Food Programs are available to the community through St. Mary’s Food Bank.  Commodities are available on the 1st Monday of the month and Mobile Pantry is available on the 2nd Thursday, 3rd Wednesday, or 4th Thursday of the month.  Food distribution will begin at 8am on each day. Home Delivered Meals
