Location, Fees and Hours of Operation
The Surprise Senior Center is located at 15832 N. Hollyhock St. in the heart of the Original Townsite and east of Gaines Park.
The Senior Center is the hub of activities for citizens age 50 or disabled adults. Membership in the Center for a resident of Surprise is $12.00 per year and for non-residents it’s $15.00. The Operating Hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A Hot Lunch Program
A hot lunch program offers seniors a balanced nutritious meal at 12 noon. The congregate meal program is designed for adults age 60 and better, and adults with disabilities. The suggested contribution rate is $2.50 per meal.
Patrons between the ages of 50-59 that do not qualify for the meal program can participate for a suggested contribution of $5.00 per meal. Reservations must be made by noon, two business days in advance by calling 623.222.1500.
If you are unable to participate in the in-person meal program, there is a home delivered meal option with Banner Olive Branch Senior Center. For program qualifications and details, please call 602.264.4357.
Fitness Center
A state of the art fitness center is open to seniors from 8:15-4:00 weekdays. Gym membership for residents is $30.00 and for non-residents it’s $35.00. Our fitness advisor can help you individualize your workout.

Our partner Tivity is now offering all SilverSneakers participants online exercise programs at no additional cost. You can workout at home on your own time with over 200 videos.
